On the passing of a SAAC Founder: Gary Miller, 1956 - 2020

Gary Miller was an enormous personality within the Ontario and Canadian soccer community; his sudden passing is very saddening for all of us here at SAAC.

Gary and Cindy Miller, through Bryst International Academy Inc., were founding members of SAAC. Through Gary’s knowledge and participation, he contributed to a standard based development approach for youth players which can be observed today, at the heart of many Academies and Clubs right across the province.

We thank Gary for his contributions, foresight, commitment, and the professionalism he has brought to our soccer community. His daily efforts, technical knowledge, and passion for the game, have left us all in a better place to enjoy the game, well into the future.

Our thoughts, sympathies and condolences are with Gary’s family during this very difficult time of loss. We will all miss him dearly.
